Tories would marginalise Britain in Europe!
In the unfortunate event that David Cameron ever were Prime Minister in a Conservative Government he would leave Britain marginalised, powerless and voiceless in Europe, ignored by the other nations and with no negotiating position other that outright withdrawal.
With our economy in the mess it is in, without being in Europe we could see the loss of millions of British jobs as investment flows away from the country.

Labour cut crimefighting measures!
Alleygating has proven to be a major success accross large areas of the City in fighting crime, reducing anti-social behaviour and improving the look of the City. Residents have been able to claim back the gated alleys as community gardens and play space for young children.
Sadly Labour Councillors are now removing the budget for alleygating schemes in the City after next year, a move which has been slated by Cllr Iain Donaldson as ‘plain stupid’.
Cllr Donaldson, who first proposed the alleygating initiative several years ago, stated that ‘In a time of recession people need more security for their homes and their families. Removing the budget for alleygating initiatives will crush one of the most effective crime prevetion innovations this council has in its armoury.”

Housing Crisis on the agenda.
I have tabled a notice of motion to the city council regarding Manchester’s housing crisis, and this evening I was interviewed by the Manchester Evening News about it.
Interestingly the Labour Executive member for Housing, Cllr Paul Andrews said he would ‘not go as far as saying that there is a housing crisis in Manchester’.
This is the same man who denies that 3,000 housing applications suspended by the Council for unknown reasons are on the waiting list in order that he can claim that the list is 18,000 applications rather than the 21,000 he quotes to the Government for housing funding. Indeed he seems to spend more time arguing that the figure should be 18,000 than he does actually tackling the crisis.
